Paul is involved in several musical projects throughout the capital area of North Carolina. He performs regularly at local clubs, restaurants, and cafes. He also provides jazz entertainment for corporate events, weddings, private parties, and the like. Blue Concept consists of Guy Percy on bass, Jeff Crouse on drums, and Paul on guitar. They play straight ahead jazz, both original material and standards they arrange. This is Paul's primary project, and the trio with which he most frequently performs.
The Paul Bomar Trio ....well, that really depends on the day. Paul may use any number of very talented, experienced musicians to play jazz shows, and whoever books the band, it's their band.
The F.O. Finch Quartet - Paul is a recurring performer with the F.O. Finch Quartet, a jazz quartet led by saxophonist F.O. Finch. They perform at the Mint twice per month.
